Meghan Malloy was born Meghan Heimbecker. She is a conservatory trained and Barrymore nominated actress. Meghan received her BFA in Acting from Point Park College's Conservatory of Performing Arts (now known as Point Park University) as well as her Equity card from the Pittsburgh Playhouse Repertory. After graduating Summa Cum Laude, Meghan moved to NYC and was soon working professionally in the theatre.
In 2005 Meghan moved from New York to Philadelphia. She often works with the Walnut Street Theatre as a teaching artist and has created an anti-bullying theatre curriculum for middle school students.
2011 saw Meghan play Mary in the world premiere of Michael Archangel at the Fulton Opera House, Olivia in Twelfth Night as part of a co-production between Theater of the Seventh Sister and The Rockford Plantation, Lurene in the new play Last Gas at the Penobscot Theatre Company in Maine and a concert reading of The Exit Interview by William Missouri Downs as part of the National New Play Network’s National Showcase of New Plays on November 20th in Philadelphia.
